Abstract Golfing is a causal golfing game in "abstract" courses of geometrical obstacles. Basically, the gameplay involves the player navigating the courses by using the mouse to aim and hit the ball through a simple drag-and-release mechanic. Presumably, the goal of the game is to get the ball into some kind of hole. Going by the game's description it's supposed to be some kind of metaphor for the hardship of life, and in that it succeeds. It suffers from poor and punishing level design, which apparently is intended rather than the result of low effort (although it more than anything feels that way). If you've made your way up this "abstract mountain" and make a mistake so that ball drops all the way back to the ground, you have to start over again. Due to this, after a mere twelve minutes, the game felt like a chore to play - and although this appears to be partly the point, it simply isn't rewarding in any way.. a game in a geometric world where you need to throw the ball higher and higher, accurately aim, calculate the trajectory and guess exactly where the ball will land. If the ball falls down, then you do not lose, but simply start over. Interestingly, the game design is made so that if you have passed a certain segment and fall down, then you do not fall to the beginning of the level, but rather refuse backwards, so that the fall is not felt so critical.. bolessssssssssssss
